California (CARB) EVR Compliance
Program Description
VST has developed and maintains the manufacturer training designed to train and certify Authorized Service Contractors (ASC's) for all of the VST Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) products that are sold and installed in California.
Levels of Certification
Each of the VST products has an associated certification that goes with it. The table below shows the levels of certification; the associated products; the authorized tasks; and the required prerequisites for each level.

NOTE:
Depending on local codes, in addition to the VST and Veeder-Root training, contractors may be required to take air- district training or ICC certification as an approved vapor-recovery installer.
Veeder-Root Installer Certification is a pre-requisite for ATG.

How to Become a VST ASC:
LEVEL A
1. Go to the VST website: www.vsthose.com
2. Click the button that alternates saying “EVR” and “CARB.”
3. Click on the "ASC Training" button.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to register.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to go through the training.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions to take the final test.
7. Follow the onscreen instruction to download your certificate
LEVELS B & C (Prerequisite: Level A)
1. Go to the VST website: www.vsthose.com
2. Click the button that alternates saying “EVR” and “CARB.”
3. Click on the "ASC Training" button.
4. There you will see a schedule for the Level B & C training.
5. Follow the registration instructions.
6. Attend the training.
7. Take and pass the final test.
8. VST will email your certification.
LEVEL D (Prerequisite: Level A)
1. Go to the VST website: www.vsthose.com
2. Click the button that alternates saying “EVR” and “CARB.”
3. Click on the "ASC Training" button.
4. There you will see a schedule for the Level D training.
5. Follow the registration instructions.
6. Attend the training.
7. Take and pass the final test.
8. VST will email your certification.
